Dr. Suzanne Goodman

Dr. Goodman received her Bachelor of Science from Buena Vista College in Iowa, graduating cum laude. She then received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry. She has been in practice in Ventura for over 22 years. She obtained her Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agent (TPA) license in 1998, when the laws in California changed, allowing Optometrists to treat ocular diseases. In 2002 she completed the coursework and examination for the diagnosis, management and treatment of glaucoma. She was also licensed by the State Board of California for lacrimal irrigation and dilation in 2003. Dr. Goodman also co-manages Lasik surgery. Dr. Goodman worked with Ciba Vision in evaluating their Night and Day contact lenses. We are able to offer our patients contact lenses for daily, 2 week wear, extended wear, bifocal and progressive lenses, toric lenses for astigmatism, and colored lenses.

We perform comprehensive eye examinations for children and adults.  Emergency care is available for eye injuries, treatment of ocular diseases, and pre and post-op co-management of refractive eye surgery.  Stop in with your glasses or your prescription for a complimentary refractive consultation.
